Overview
Druk Path Trek is one of the most popular treks in Bhutan. It is a short and scenic trek with some great views and beautiful lakes en route. Although it leads up to altitudes above 4,000m it is not too strenuous as walking distances between the camps are not too long. Besides the lakes, it is the Phadjoding monastery that is one of the highlights of this trek.
Paro – Jili Dzong (Distance seven km, four to five hours, 1,090m ascent, camp altitude 3,480m). The first day is a long day as you have to climb more than 1,000m elevation. You start from the Ta Dzong (National Museum) in Paro. The trek follows a gravel road past a few farms for about 30 minutes and then climbs up a steep ridge before leading through blue pine and fir forests to Damche Gom. Once you reach the ridge below Jili Dzong you descend about 100m to the campsite below Jili Dzong. Overnight in Tents

Itinerary
Day 1: Flight From Kathmandu to Paro And Sightseeing in Paro
Fly from Kathmandu to paro on one of the world's most spectacular mountain flights, offering incredible views of the himalayan range , including mount Everest on clear days. Upon arrival in paro, meet your guide and tranfers to your hotel. Spend the aftenoon exploring Paro's cultural landmarks and acclimatizing to the altitude.
Day 2: Trek from Paro to Jele Dzong (3,480m) 4 to 5 Hours
after breakfast, drive to the trailhead near Paro and begin your trek.The trail climbs steadily through pine forest and traditional farmlands before reaching Jele Dzong, a historic Fortress offering spectacular views of Paro Valley.
Day 3: Jele Dzong to Jimilang Tsho
Today's trail follow beautiful ridgelines through rhododendron forest and alpine meadows. Enjoy magnificent views of snow capped himalayan peaks before arriving at the stunning Jimilang Tsho Lake, know for its crystal clear waters
Day 4: Jimilang Tsho to Phajoding
Cross high mountain ridges and pass several pristine alpine lakes as you make your way toward Phajoding.The route offers some of the Finest views on the trek and a chance to experience Bhutan's untouched wildeness.
Day 5: Bhutan captal city tour ( Phajoding-thimphu-Paro)
Visit the beautiful Phajoding Monastery before descending through pine forests to Thimphu,Bhutan's Capital city.Explore key attractions before driving back to Paro for your final night.
Day 6: Return to kathmandu from Paro
After breakfast, transfer to Paro Intenational Airport for your retun Flight to kathmandu. Take home unforgettable memories of Bhutan's mountains, monasteries, Lakes and unique culture.
