💳 Booking and Payment

To confirm your booking, a non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total trip cost is required at the time of reservation.

The booking deposit can be paid through:

The 20% booking deposit is non-refundable. However, it can be transferred to another trek, tour, or expedition operated by Mountain Hiking & Trekking Pvt. Ltd. at any time.

The remaining balance can be paid:

Late Booking

We accept last-minute bookings up to 7 days before departure. A 20% deposit is required to confirm the booking, and the remaining balance can be paid upon arrival in Nepal.

🔹 More than 45 days before departure: 20% deposit is non-refundable.

🔹 30–45 days before departure: 50% of the total trip cost is non-refundable.

🔹 Less than 30 days before departure: 100% of the total trip cost is non-refundable.

If a trip is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances such as:

Mountain Hiking & Trekking Pvt. Ltd. will offer either:

🔄An alternative trip of equal value, or 💵A full refund of the amount paid.

No refunds will be provided for voluntary withdrawal, early departure, or unused services after the trip has commenced.

 

🛡 Travel Insurance

Comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory for all participants.

The insurance policy must cover:

🏥Emergency medical treatment

⛰️High-altitude trekking

🚁Helicopter rescue and evacuation

❌Trip cancellation/interruption

⚕️Accidental injury or death

🎒Loss or theft of personal belongings

⚠️ Important Notice

Clients must provide proof of valid travel insurance before the trip begins. Failure to provide adequate insurance coverage may result in denial of participation without refund.

✅ We strongly recommend reviewing your policy carefully to ensure it covers all activities included in your chosen trek, tour, or expedition.

🚁 Emergency Rescue

🚨 In the event of illness, injury, altitude sickness, or any emergency situation during the trip, Mountain Hiking & Trekking Pvt. Ltd. may arrange emergency evacuation services when deemed necessary.

📋 Clients are fully responsible for:

🚁 Helicopter evacuation expenses

🏥 Medical treatment costs

🩺 Hospital charges

🏨 Additional accommodation expenses

🚐 Additional transportation expenses

🛡️ These costs should be covered by the client’s travel insurance policy.

⚠️ Important Notice

Mountain Hiking & Trekking Pvt. Ltd. will assist with rescue coordination and emergency arrangements whenever possible; however, the company is not financially responsible for helicopter rescue, medical treatment, hospital charges, evacuation expenses, or any related costs.

Guide and Porter Authority

🛡️ For the safety, well-being, and success of the trip, all clients agree to follow the instructions and decisions of guides, trek leaders, and company representatives at all times.

👨‍🏫 The guide has the authority to:

📍 Alter the itinerary for safety or operational reasons

😴 Recommend additional rest or acclimatization days

🚁 Arrange emergency evacuation when necessary

⚠️ Restrict participation in activities that may endanger the client or the group

🚫 Failure to comply with guide instructions may result in removal from the trip without refund.

Flight Delays and Cancellations

🌤️ Mountain flights in Nepal, especially to Lukla, Jomsom, Simikot, Dolpa, and other remote regions, are highly dependent on weather conditions and operational factors.

⚠️ Mountain Hiking & Trekking Pvt. Ltd. is not responsible for:

✈️ Flight delays

❌ Flight cancellations

🏨 Additional accommodation costs

🚐 Additional transportation expenses

💰 Any extra costs resulting from delays or cancellations shall be borne by the client.

🤝 The company will make every reasonable effort to arrange alternative transportation whenever possible; however, alternative arrangements cannot be guaranteed.
