Overview

Mera Peak Climbing is one of Nepal’s most popular and rewarding trekking peaks, offering an incredible Himalayan adventure to the summit of Mera Peak (6,461m / 21,190ft). Located in the beautiful Hinku Valley of the Everest region, Mera Peak is the highest trekking peak in Nepal and provides breathtaking panoramic views of some of the world’s highest mountains, including Mount Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, Cho Oyu, and Kanchenjunga.

The 18-day Mera Peak Climbing expedition follows the classic Paiya–Panggom–Kothe–Khare route, combining remote Himalayan trekking, Sherpa culture, and technical peak climbing. The journey begins with a scenic flight from Kathmandu to Lukla and passes through peaceful villages, lush rhododendron forests, alpine valleys, and glacial landscapes before reaching Mera Peak Base Camp and High Camp.

Before attempting the summit, climbers spend an acclimatization day at Khare (5,045m) with professional climbing training, including the use of crampons, ice axes, ropes, and glacier techniques. The final summit push rewards climbers with unforgettable sunrise views over the magnificent Himalayan range.

Designed for adventure seekers with good fitness and determination, Mera Peak Climbing in Nepal is a perfect choice for those looking to experience their first Himalayan summit above 6,000 meters while exploring one of the most beautiful and less crowded trekking regions of Nepal.
