Tandi Sherpa’s story begins high in the Himalayas, in the legendary Everest region of Nepal. Growing up surrounded by towering peaks, ancient trails, and the rhythms of mountain life, he developed a deep connection with the Himalayas from an early age. The mountains were not just a backdrop to his childhood—they were his classroom, his inspiration, and ultimately, his calling.
With more than 20 years of experience in Nepal’s trekking and tourism industry, Tandi Sherpa has built his career step by step on the very trails he once walked as a young boy. What began as a passion for the mountains evolved into a lifelong profession dedicated to guiding travelers safely through some of the world’s most breathtaking landscapes.

Over the years, he has organized and led treks and tours across Nepal’s most iconic regions, working closely with travelers from all over the world. His approach has always been simple: prioritize safety, respect the mountains, and create meaningful travel experiences that go beyond sightseeing.

His journey has not been limited to Nepal. Tandi Sherpa has traveled to more than 10 countries, gaining valuable international exposure and insight into global travel standards. These experiences have shaped his understanding of what modern travelers expect—professional service, clear communication, and well-organized logistics—while still preserving the authenticity of Himalayan adventure.
Today, as Managing Director and Senior Travel Consultant of Mountain Hiking & Trekking, he combines his deep local knowledge with international experience to design journeys that are safe, well-planned, and truly memorable. His leadership is rooted in hands-on experience, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to responsible tourism in Nepal.

For Tandi Sherpa, every trek is more than a route on a map—it is a personal invitation to experience the spirit of the Himalayas.
