Classic Lower Dolpo trek
Trip Facts
Overview
The 14-Day Lower Dolpo Trek is a rewarding journey into one of Nepal’s most isolated Himalayan regions. This itinerary is designed for experienced trekkers who want to explore the unique Tibetan-influenced culture, remote valleys, and dramatic mountain scenery of Lower Dolpo in a shorter timeframe. The trek begins with scenic flights to Juphal and follows ancient trade routes through traditional villages, dense forests, and alpine landscapes before crossing the spectacular Numa La Pass (5,310m). Although shorter than the classic itinerary, it still offers an authentic Dolpo experience while maintaining a reasonable pace for acclimatization.
